Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to present a global concern, we wanted to let you know that we here at Seaside Management remain committed to supporting you and your community association during this challenging time.

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have centered our response and planning around three guiding principles.

  1. Creating a safe work environment for our employees
  2. Continuing to serve all property owners with the highest standards
  3. Doing our part in preventing the spread of the virus

To that end, Seaside Management has implemented the following:

  • Our association managers will be working remotely from home, while staggering time in the office as needed.  The best way to reach your association manager will be through email.  Managers will continue to perform periodic community inspections and meet vendors/subcontractors on site as needed, but will actively limit their personal contact.
  • Our bookkeeping, administrative and support staff will stagger their time in the office and working from home, with the goal of keeping the office open during normal business hours, but with limited in-person staff.  Again, email is preferred over phone calls, due to the limited staff available to answer calls.
  • Our maintenance staff will be performing their usual duties but again will actively limit their personal contact.  If you see them on-site, please conform with social distancing recommendations.
  • In an effort to limit the number of people coming into the office, outside meetings will be rescheduled or moved to teleconference
  • Board meetings will be held by teleconference
  • Any changes to scheduled annual meetings will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with those Boards of Directors, and changes will be communicated as soon as feasible.  Again, we will recommend all attempts be made to limit in-person meeting attendance.
  • Items that need to be delivered to our office, such as payments, keys or architectural applications, can be left in our secure drop box at the back door.
  • We will make all efforts to keep “business as usual” in these very unusual times, but we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
